Baby Update

Well we are still waiting for the little one. I had a Dr.'s appt this afternoon and I am dilated to a 4 so all I need is a few good contractions and we are off to the hospital. In order for them to keep me I need to have regular contractions. At this point I am so tired and just want it to be over with. I did see another Dr. today she was wonderful I had never seen her before and when she walked in I felt as if she knew more about me than me. She did her homework and must have read my chart, I was very impresses. Poor Travis is on high alert I just called him to let him know what the Dr. said and he thought it was the call to come home poor guy! When she arrives Travis and I will text and email everyone pictures of the new little Souza Girl!

Still not here....

I have many people call to see if the baby has arrived so I wanted to update everyone. No she still is pretty comfy inside. Today I have decided to clean the entire house hoping to put myself into labor so far nothing. There was a really good friend of our who is having a birthday party for there son this weekend that we really wanted to go too I was hoping to have had the baby by then watch she will decided to arrive on Sunday instead.
I hope she shows up before my next appt. Kaiser seems to think I don't need to be seen until the 30th tomorrow is my due date. I have not been very happy with the Fremont Kaiser lately but that's a long story. Hopefully my next post will have a picture of Baby Allison.

Baby Update 5/19/08

You guessed it not yet but we are getting closer this Friday will be her due date so the end is in sight. The midwife thinks she is getting close to 8 lbs so she needs to come out soon or she may have to be delivered by c section. I have had a hard time delivering 6 and 7 lb babies so I'm not sure about and 8 lbs. I wish the Midwife I am seeing know would look back at my past deliveries like my other midwife did because then she would understand why I am getting nervous about this delivery. I will be one upset patient if I have to end up with a C section because she wouldn't come out because she is too big.
All I can do is hope and wait!

Baby Update

Well I think the Baby has decided to stay in the womb until she turns 10. I had another appt yesterday I am making progress but the Midwife from hell thinks it may be another week or two. I call her the midwife from hell because she was the most insensitive person I have ever had to deal with in the medical field. My normal midwife the one that has been wonderful and so sweet and was so willing to help start labor sooner than later has left for vacation and will not be back for 3 weeks so pretty much after the baby has been born just my luck!

Happy Mothers Day Everyone.

We had a really nice Day. First we went to Travis's Sister Kelly's house for Breakfast it was nice just to relax and watch the kids play and tire themselves out. We then came home and the kids took a nap and I just sat and watched a movie which never happens anymore even when we rent a movie I still miss half of it. After the kids where done with there nap we went back to Kelly's for Dinner. I didn't have to do anything today it was nice!
We still have no idea when this Baby is going to make her appearance it's driving me nuts I am so uncomfortable I can't stand it anymore. Tuesday I see the Dr. once again we are hoping for good news. Once again any news we'll keep you updated.

No Baby yet

Still no Baby, I went to the Dr.'s on Monday I am 80% effaced and dilated to a whole whopping 1. I guess I am making progress but I was hoping for more. I was suppose to have another appt next week but for some dumb reason they had to cancel my appt and won't be able to be seen until the 19th that almost two weeks, needless to say I was not a happy camper this morning.
Other than that news things are good I'm still in the nesting stage I even think Travis is starting to nest he has been great with keeping the house clean for me. I guess we will just have to be patient and wait to see what happens. I will try to keep you all updated.

Kindergarden Physical / Busy Day

9:30am Well today was Emily's Kindergarten Physical, that was fun. Emily did pretty good except when it came to getting three shots man is she a strong child it took my and the nurse to get her arm out of her shirt. She still has to get her blood test taken but they wanted to do a cholesterol test on her so she has to do that another day before she eats breakfast I think I may have her Dad do that one. She also has to see a pediatric surgeon for her umbilical hernia it's a small one but big enough to have it repaired, we will see after we talk to that Dr.. Other than that she is a very tall (110th percentile in height and 95th in weight) healthy kid. Emily then got to go pick a prize out at the store which only took forever for her to decide.

11:45am After that we had to go pick up her Sister at her Grandma and Papa Souza's house she had fun playing over there who wouldn't she gets spoiled over there I wish I got to stay instead. After about 1 hour of trying to get them to go home for a much needed Nap yip they both take naps still yeah for me!
12:40p We finally make it home get them in bed, Eat my lunch because if you want to have piece while eating you can't eat around your kids because they want to eat half of it even though you made them the same thing they think yours taste better. So I ate my lunch then decided 1:30p my Van needed to be washed because I want to bring the baby home in a nice clean car, don't laugh it a nesting thing pregnancy hormones make you think and act different. So as all my neighbors drove by asking me what I was doing, duh washing my car I finally got tired of telling them I wanted my car clean I finally just said I am trying to start labor but really wanted to tell them to mind there own business but I was nice.

3:45p My kids are finally done with there nap so they decide to come out and help me clean everything up. We then need to make sure Daddy eats dinner before her goes to work so I made dinner while I was making dinner my kids are playing nicely in there playroom it was nice until I turned the corner to see what the playroom looked like wow I think a bomb went off they had taken ever puzzle, and block set and well for those of you who have see how many toys they have you can just imagine what it looked like. Then it was time to torture my kids and make them clean the whole room up by themselves 6:45p two hours later with lots of crying and time outs and threats of throwing away every toy that was still on the floor away the room is finally clean.

7:15p Travis then calls from work wanting to know how many kids are in Emily's class because next Monday and Tues he is going to bring a police car to show to her class well I can't remember so I had to go up stair to find out. I was only upstairs for ten minutes I come down the stairs and find my Dog unable to walk on her back leg. The first thing that goes through my head was wow this is going to cost lots of money. The second thing is oh no I have to take the dog in my clean Van with both kids to the vet by myself.9:00p So I call Travis who then came a checked the dog out convinced my to wait until the morning to take her in so I felt a little better until I realized what I have to do tomorrow, tomorrow schedule is worse than today's so well see how that goes!
