Allison is 8 months old!!!!!!

Well today Allison has turned 8 months old. Here are a could of pictures of her playing today. Travis an I could not ask for a better baby she is always happy even when she is sick. She is just getting over her first little cold and she could not have been a better baby.

We just wanted to update you with some new pictures so far January has been pretty uneventful.

The first week in Jan Travis went and did a presentation at Emily's school that ended up being a big production it was really cool. Half the department was there, there was Travis, a k-9 officer,2 Sargent's, a Captain and even the Chief was there. The reason for such a big presentation was because Target wanted to make a donation to the police department for school education on 911 and stranger danger. All the kids thought the dog was the best part!

Last week we had really warm weather for Jan it was in the 70's so of course we had to have Jeep wars even Allison got to enjoy this one. Emily gave Allison a ride in her Jeep she's getting so big. It was during Jeep wars that Travis realized that Emily is old enough to ride on his Motorcycle this year. I guess the law is when they are tall enough to reach the rear foot pegs all the way they are legal to rise on the back, well I wasn't too happy to hear this. Travis was so excited that the next day he went out and bought her a full faced helmet, so this last Friday Travis went and picked Emily up from school on the bike of course she thought that was the best thing in the world. I am going to have lots of gray hair!

Can you believe that Allison is 7 1/2 month old already. She is doing so much for her age I wish she would slow down. She has been crawling for a couple of months now she is walking along the furniture so walking is in the near future. She has said two words her first word was fish(ishh) and her second word was Dog well she says oggie too cute!!! Just two days ago she started clapping and waving to people. She thinks she is older than she really is I guess it's trying to catch up with her sisters.

Happy New Year Everyone! I hope everyone had a good holiday we sure did, Emily and Ashley where so excited about Santa Clause this year. Santa was really nice to them this year, both the girls got what they wanted from Santa Emily got her American Doll named Julie and Ashley got her Leap frog Tag Pen plus many more. Allison really didn't understand much but she had fun opening her gifts too.

Christmas Eve we stayed home and had Kelly and Lorrin and the kids and Mike & Vicki, Travis had to work this year for both Christmas Eve and Christmas but he was able to stop by and hang out for a few minutes here and there. Christmas was pretty low key we opened presents in the morning and then Mike & Vicki came over later to hang out and then the girls and I went to my Mom's for dinner that night.

So pretty low key which was nice because right before Christmas more like the week after Thanksgiving we had a pipe in the wall break and leaked water all over the family room. It was horrible it messed up part of our brand new hard wood floor water had gone under the floor so Travis had to tear out part of the wall in the family room it just happened to be the pipe that lead to the second floor bathroom and then had to tear up part of the floor and then had to tear out a part of our upstairs bathroom which we just got done redoing. Travis had to fix the part of the pipe under the house which took about 3 days total the poor guys was having the worst time with the plumbing it almost got the best of him until a friend of our told us about this wonderful new plastic pipe which finally worked. It was horrible the house was a mess, we had no water for several days and let me tell you, you don't realize how much water we use on a daily basis until you don't have it. Finally a week before Christmas the house was finally back in order so it was nice to have a quite holiday.

The kids are doing well we were able to make it through Christmas with out being sick since everyone around us had that terrible cold, but Christmas night I started to feel like I was getting a cold the next day the kids and I all had the cold. So we are still trying to get over this cold that everyone has Travis is the only one who is healthy so far. Both the older girls can't wait to go back to school and neither can I feel like I am walking around picking up toys all day long, but Allison is loving that her sisters are home all day she loves to play with them. Since she started to crawl that's all she does it chase them or the dogs through the house.
